Questions, answered
What is a safe zone in a vertical video?
The part of a 9:16 video that isn't covered by the app's own buttons, username, caption and progress bar. Text, faces and logos inside it stay readable on every phone.
What are the safe zones for TikTok, Reels and Shorts?
On a 1080 × 1920 frame, keep text roughly 210 px from the top, 360 px from the bottom, 140 px from the right and 60 px from the left to be clear on all three apps. Each app on its own needs a little less; choose it in the checker to see the exact area.
Is my video uploaded anywhere?
No. The checker runs entirely in your browser. Your image or video never leaves your device.
Why do apps cover different areas?
Each app places its like, comment and share buttons, your username and the caption differently, and layouts shift a little between app versions and phone sizes. Treat the zones as a careful guide, not an exact pixel rule.
